Project Description
The project involved a throughput study of an existing CHPP, and the development of capacity upgrade projects.

The deliverable was to provide a $ - for – tonnes analysis of bottlenecks identified by the throughput study with an ultimate aim to increase production by ~25%.

Roles and Responsibilities
Working closely with the client, Waves responsibilities were to deliver:

• Plant throughput / production / processing study.
• Plant debottlenecking.
• Capital upgrade project scoping and preliminary design.
• Capital estimates and schedules.
• Staged upgrade program based around capital cost per step increase in annual production.

Benefit to the Client
The client gained a quantified understanding of their current plant and it’s existing bottlenecks, along with a detail plan of capital upgrades with information necessary for formulation of business cases.
